FLT_MAX is the max value you can store in a type float variable. It's basically infinite, so, by doing so, you're making beams unbreakable. Not sure if that's what he wants.
I believe that is, Herbie can't be killed, so if wheels would not go out of alignment and parts would not fall off, that would be probably quite good. Broken beam can't be fixed, but maybe deformed can be bent back to place, if re-generator just moves nodes back to original places, but I'm not sure how it works. I think node beam setup is kind of balanced spring device, it needs to be careful planning and adjusting, changing only one part of it seems to not work best possible way. Then again I'm still very much of beginning of learning beam structures.
We need things like: Ability to split in half Ability to drive on its side Ability to float and sink, both without hydro-locking the engine Rusty, bull fighting config Horace config NASCAR config
Nice beetle. --- Post updated --- Bwhoah. What in the world. Thats mad didn't realise you could do that! Imagine if hippies had that on their cars (reference to the fact that most hippies here in Australia drive daks daks (try and guess what that means) and Kombis that are a bit worse for wear)
could be if you have set it as a default vehicle - spawn a new Herbie and set this car as your new default vehicle. And that black chrome appears if you have set your graphics to "lowest" set it to "low" and it will look better
