    Hello,
i have a Saitek R440 FFB Wheel but the FFB is not Working.
    Who has ideas.

And when I reset the car, my steering wheel is in the car 20-23 ° wrong.
But I think this is already known. Or?
    Is there already solutions?

Its still work in progress: the FBB settings are hardcoded atm still :(

Also, we need to implement a calibration phase or alike :/

Ah, the R440, that was the first wheel I ever had... Fond memories. Those pedals were pretty nice :)

Unfortunately we don't have a Saitek R440 to test with at the moment, but I think it should be able to work correctly.

    Please check that:
    - You have downloaded and installed the last version of its drivers. Without this, you won't have FFB.
    - You have calibrated the wheel in Windows Control Panel. Make sure that Windows Control Panel shows the wheel properly centered.
    - You are not using any mods in BeamNG that could interfere with hydros.lua (to make sure, just delete or deactive ALL the mods you have, delete cache, verify Steam integrity, etc)

If you have been able to follow each of those 3 steps without problems, the wheel should be centered correctly both in Windows Control Panel and consequently in BeamNG.Drive. If not, you most probably have a faulty wheel, or the drivers have some bug.

So if that went correctly, now open BeamNG.Drive, and verify that in Controls > Hardware the wheel is also centered there.
Then go to Controls > Force Feeedback, enable FFB, and start giving it bigger and bigger Force Coefficient numbers (increase 50 units each time).

Remember to click Apply, and to hide the menu (FFB is disabled while you are operating the BeamNG menus, to prevent injuries or damage to the wheel).

    I have an R440 as well :)

Remember if you're on Windows 7 there's some really dumb install procedure that involves modifying registry to get FFB. Damn Saitek >_>

What I did on my R440 is that I've plugged it out of power socket and then plugged it back in. This turned on the default FFB.

When you are back in BeamNG do not open the controls menu as that seems to turn FFB off (unless this has been fixed). I don't think the wheel supports any of the advanced FFB options yet so I think the best solution so far is to play on the default FFB. :)

Edit: Also make sure that after plugging the wheel out of power you have it centered otherwise you will have to play off-center all the time.
