Fire extinguisher option, Cars combusting too easily?

This may be the wrong section to post this, but it seems about right. I ask that the devs take no offence to this, as I appreciate the time and effort they invest in features such as the relatively newly implemented fire. However, I feel like some cars may be combusting too easily upon impact. Usually, even hard rear impacts on cars generally don't cause a fire. In my opinion, it would add realism to the game if cars were a little more difficult to burn as a result of an impact. This is just from what I have seen in my gameplay, it varies on different cars and others may have conflicting experiences or opinions.

The other thing I have made this thread to discuss is the possibility of an option behaps in the "environment" app which allows for the extinguishing of car fires in the map you are currently using. There could also be the implementation of toggling the fire option on and off.

That is just my 2c and I would appreciate some feedback on what you guys think.

 

yeah, cars seem way too flammable, I was just driving around that tunnel thing at gridmap with a slightly modded grand marshal and the fuel tank just caught on fire, I didn't even toutch anything

 

Have to agree with you Mike and an option to toggle fire effects on/off (or being able to alter the sensitivity) would be a good idea!

 

they have a fire extinguisher its an one of the apps already in the game its been there since fire was a thing
