Edit: Through coincidence, I found that the mattresses of BeamNG are manufactured by the BRODERICK MATTRESS CORPORATION of Firwood, ME. The factory buildings in Firwood are therefor likely to have first been used as a tire factory and from some point after that as a mattress factory. I have recently discovered that the ''Bias Ply'' tyres of BeamNG's 1950s to early 1970s cars (Autobello Piccolina, Gavril Barstow, Burnside Special, Gavril Bluebuck, Ibishu Miramar) are all from the same brand: Firwood Tire & Rubber Co. Now, logically deducing, I came to the conclusion that the industrial buildings in the town of Firwood once were a used as a tyre factory. Were because... 1. The buildings seem to be abandoned / out of use (but still maintained) 2. There are no newer tyres branded ''Firwood / Tire and Rubber Co.'' and their tyres cannot be found on cars built after 1971. I therefor assume that the Firwood Tire & Rubber Co. went out of business in about 1971 due to the Gavril Barstow (1969-1971) being the newest car equipped with their tyres. Building 1 Building 2
