So I found this problem during making a mod that adds trailer to parts selector. After I add one to the Vivace, this happens: And it's a really weird issue because: It fixes itself when I remove the front or rear wheels of the car, but not the trailer It occurs when either one of the rear trailer wheels is present, or both of the front ones Doesn't depend on internal wheel names, I can put whatever there and it still does the same Temporary solution is to make the rear trailer wheels the corner wheels but it makes the vehicle drive weird Any help?
You'll have to send me your files, otherwise I won't be ablt to look into this. Why is your trailer part of the towing vehicle?
Because that's the whole point of the mod lol, I wanted to add trailers as parts of vehicles. Here are the Jbeam files, enough to reproduce the issue, they can go in common folder or in whatever vehicle folder. It has asymmetrical wheels selection but it shouldn't affect this behavior. At the end of the agenty_trailer_boxutility.jbeam file, I put lines that override the corner wheels definition to temporarily fix the issue, you can remove them and see the error.
I'm afraid I have no idea how to use this... This doesn't seem to be an "Additional Modification" or tow hitch part... Can you please explain more in detail how this is meant to be used?
i think we broke the dev. /s lmao i think its supposed to let you spawn a trailer through the parts menu, without having to spawn a second vehicle/prop/trailer, im guessing to help performance? not 100% sure
Every tow hitch on every car has an unused slot set up for the removed D-Series trailer, this mod uses that slot. So you can find it under tow hitch. --- Post updated --- It's not to help performance but because I'm too lazy to attach it manually lol
I found and fixed that bug, not sure when this will reach you though. I'm afraid there is no "no-hassle" solution I can give to you until then.
