Hello there! My name is Flingang and it's my first post on the forums. As you can see here, this is all about my car mods made in Automation. I like every kind of car, but especially classic muscle cars. But since I didn't complete the interiors for my classic muscle cars yet and completed the modern ones, I'll post the modern ones for now. And please notice that I'm not much of a expert in building a car in Automation, but I try my best to make sure those cars have a good enough quality. I'll keep this thread updated as I will keep posting more and more cars that I've made in Automation and exported to BeamNG. Also, I hope I can post the links for these cars from the repository, since that's where I upload them, but if I can't send the links for these cars, then I'm sorry about that. For the first three cars, they will be models from Vermilion Motors, my brand for some of my in-game vehicles. These cars are inspired by American muscle cars mostly. The first three cars I'll be posting will be the Promethium, Daredevil and Duke. I hope you like them, and don't hesitate to make criticism, so I can improve my future cars' quality I'll be making in game in the future. And without further ado... Spoiler: Vermilion Motors Spoiler: 2025-2026 Promethium Inspired mostly by the Dodge Viper, the Promethium has few large displacement, V10 engine options, including a 8.4L DOHC V10, a 8.8L OHV V10 making 1088 bhp, and a 9.4L OHV V10 making 1176 bhp. Also includes a Group GT3 variant and a 3000+ bhp drag racing car. 2025-2026 Vermilion Promethium by Flingang Spoiler: Previous version (Discontinued) 2024-2025 Vermilion Promethium by Flingang (Legacy) Spoiler: 2024-2025 Daredevil With heavy inspirations from the 2008-2023 Dodge Challenger, the Daredevil is a purist muscle car with a wide range of V8 engines, from 5.6L to 7.6L V8 engines. 2024-2025 Vermilion Daredevil by Flingang Spoiler: 2024-2025 Duke If you like the Daredevil, but you have a family, you can opt for the Duke muscle sedan. It has some inspirations from lots of muscle cars. Dodge Charger, Ford Mustang, Ford Falcon... You name it! It still looks good, at least that's what the other people I've seen told me. It has the same variety of engines from the Daredevil, from 5.6L to 7.6L V8 engines. 2024-2025 Vermilion Duke by Flingang Spoiler: 1996-2002 Promethium If you like the Promethium, but you want to buy a used one, there is a option for you. This car is very inspired by the 1996-2002 Dodge Viper GTS. The engine options are naturally aspirated V10 from 8.1L to 8.8L. 1996-2002 Vermilion Promethium by Flingang Spoiler: 1998-2005 Daredevil If you like the Daredevil, but want a 1990s version of the car, similar to the modern car, without the blobby-ish design, but with the traditional square-ish design, then this car might be for you. It's inspired by the 1999 Pontiac GTO concept when it comes to the body style for its time, but mostly based on a 2008 Dodge Challenger with 90s technology instead. The engines are naturally aspirated V8 ranging from 5.8L to 7.6L. 1998-2005 Vermilion Daredevil by Flingang Spoiler: 1971-1974 Daredevil This is the second generation for the Daredevil, built from the 1971 through 1974 model years. The 1971 model year started with four engines including the 354 5.8L, the 405 Centurion 6.6L, the 427 Speed Demon 7.0L, and the mighty 465 Crazy Goat 7.6L, plus including a fifth engine which is a strictly limited high performance version of the latter. However, in 1972, the Crazy Goat was discontinued, and for 1973 and 1974 model years, the only remaining engines were the 354 and 405 V8 engines, due to the 1973 oil crisis, which also impacted for the performance decrease. But nonetheless, the 1971-1974 Daredevil is a pretty collectable muscle car. 1971-1974 Vermilion Daredevil by Flingang Spoiler: Silver Racing / BC Vehicles Spoiler: 1965-1967 Anaconda This car is my version of the 1965 Shelby Cobra. It's available as a roadster and coupe versions (not the hardtop version). It has two engine options, 5.8L and 7.3L V8 engines, the last one mentioned being an all-aluminium engine. This car is a timeless classic performance car, and it's worth probably about seven figures today. 1965-1967 Silver Anaconda by Flingang Spoiler: 2025 Anaconda The classic legend, reborn. This car is like a modern version of the Silver Anaconda, which was inspired by the Shelby Cobra, but made by the other brand that made them in that period instead of the American brand Silver Racing, which is the British automaker BC Vehicles. This car had lots of inspiration from the real life 2025 AC Cobra GT that's being made in UK right now, and has similar modern touch to the classic design. There are three naturally aspirated Vermilion engine options, from the 6.2L OHV V8 to the 7.6L DOHC V8 and 8.8L OHV V10, with the last one being over 1000 bhp of power. 2025 BC Anaconda by Flingang Spoiler: Game Lore Spoiler: Vermilion Motors Spoiler: Brand lore Vermilion Motors Lore Spoiler: Vermilion Promethium Lore Vermilion Promethium Lore Spoiler: Vermilion Daredevil Lore Vermilion Daredevil Lore Thanks for coming to my thread and for looking to my vehicles, and I hope you enjoy them as much as I do! .
Thank you! I appreciate you feedback! I will add more cars as I'll be completing more designs here, so yeah.
Thank you! I love cars, and even i am just recently (like since the past 6 years) an addict, I already got a lot of knowledge about them. I still have a long way to go, though, and if there is anything I can improve, I'm open to feedbacks.
So, it seems like I can't edit my thread main post, so I guess I should make a new reply. Even though my thread is over a month old, so like I say again, I'm sorry if I'm breaking a rule. Well, I'm gonna show my progress on my next car to go to the repository. Spoiler: 1965 Silver Anaconda As you can see, this is my attempt to make a classic Shelby Cobra, with few differences (Counting the fact that it's related to Vermilion in my lore. Vermilion is similar to Dodge, while Pioneer is similar to Ford. There are no Pioneer cars completed for now, so y'all don't know it yet.). The 1965 Silver Anaconda has two trims (as of now): 354 Roadster (car to the right), and 444 "Speed Demon" Roadster (car to the left). I plan to add a Coupe variant for both engine options later. The 354 Roadster is powered by a 354 cid (5.8L) V-8 producing 280 hp and 345 lb-ft of torque, while the 444 SD Roadster is powered by a 444 cid (7.3L) Super Duty aluminium V-8 engine that outputs staggering 455 hp and 510 lb-ft of torque. The 1965 Silver Anaconda 444 SD Roadster was so fast, that because its name was "SD" and the public didn't understand that "SD" stands for "Super Duty", they nicknamed it "Speed Demon". Top speed for 354 Roadster is 162 mph (260 km/h), while it's 189 mph (304 km/h) for 444 SD Roadster. And also, because I cannot edit the thread, I'll add my link to the Vermilion Motors page in Automation Lore Wiki. Spoiler: Vermilion Motors - Lore https://automation-lore.fandom.com/wiki/Vermilion_Motors And again, since I'm a polite person who likes to apologize for no reason (or with reason), I'm sorry if I'm breaking a rule (posting on this old post). But like I say, I just think that this thread should be updated while I'm making more vehicles in Automation for BeamNG, so that's the reason I'm updating this thread. I hope y'all understand it.
Just a quick update to my thread. I've added the 1965-1967 Silver Anaconda for download in the repository, so there is now a link for its download in the main post of the thread. Make sure to check it out, I hope you enjoy the mod!
Another update here. I know the thread is more than 38 days old, but I'd recommend downloading the latest version of the 2024 Vermilion Promethium. There are some minor design changes, but you can also get two extra trims. One of the trims is the previous base trim without ducktail spoiler, which is a upgraded version of the base trim. Another trim is the same new base trim without ducktail spoiler, but the difference is that it has a V8 engine swap instead, and the engine comes more specifically from the Crazy Goat Berserk trim from the Daredevil producing 740 hp and 640 lb-ft of torque. I hope you enjoy!
Thank you! I appreciate it! I have plans to make more vehicles and more brands, but it's time consuming since I have university and stuff. And it's hard to think about which car to finish next, since there are lots of cars in my roster that have yet to be finished. But eventually, more cars will come, and hopefully in a better quality.
So, I've decided to give a try in a competition in Automation Game, and I ended making the interior of the predecessor of the 2024 Vermilion Promethium sports car. In this case, I've made the Coupe version, since the Convertible body style that I want to use in Automation to build its convertible version is not compatible with the latest Automation engine version (UE 4.27). I tried to temporarily downgrade to a previous version which the body was compatible (which used the UE 4.24), but the mods weren't running at all. So I decided to give up and just make the Coupe for now. But anyway, here is what you can expect from my next car mod, the 1996-2002 Vermilion Promethium. Spoiler: 1996-2002 Vermilion Promethium This version is the Vermilion Promethium GTX 540 trim that was only available between 1998 and 2002. The interior is very simple and made mostly of gray leather and black plastic. It's powered by a 8.8L V10 engine making 560 hp and 585 lb-ft of torque. Top speed is about 214 mph (345 km/h). It's the top tier trim for the Promethium from this era, since there was the GTS 494 trim that was available from 1996-2002. The GTS 494 trim is powered by a 8.1L V10 engine cranking out 460 hp and 540 lb-ft of torque, with a top speed of 198 mph (319 km/h). Also, I'm gonna add the Automation Lore Wiki page I've made for the Vermilion Promethium (the only car model page started yet). It will be updated as I change things in there. Spoiler: Vermilion Promethium - Lore https://automation-lore.fandom.com/wiki/Vermilion_Promethium I expect to release the car before the next Automation game update, which will be before the weekend. If there are some significant changes in game, I'll update this car, the other cars, or all of them.
Just a quick update here. The 1996-2002 Vermilion Promethium is now available for download, and the main thread post was updated, so there is the link to the file in the repository. I hope you enjoy it!
Another little update here. I've added the best version for the 2024 Vermilion Promethium I've ever made yet. It includes a GT3 race car trim, although I realized too late that the seat position (which also includes a custom seatbelt, although not perfect) wasn't aligned with the steering wheel, but it was too late, so I'll fix it later. This new version makes the car, in general, much faster. And by much faster, I mean, the 0-62 mph (0-100 km/h) is under 2.8 seconds for a few of the trims. I hope y'all enjoy it, and sorry for the current issue in one of the trims.
Just another quick update here, but the 2024 Vermilion Promethium and 2024 Vermilion Daredevil mods were updated with lots of changes, especially when it comes to the engines.. Also, a new mod was released, which is the 1998-2005 Vermilion Daredevil. It's supposed to be a classic, square-ish style muscle car that was supposed to be inspired by the 1999 Pontiac GTO concept (because it had a classic bodywork style in the late 90s) and the 2008 Dodge Challenger (most of the features). Check it out in the main post in this thread, it looks like this: And there is also the new Automation Lore Wiki page for the Vermilion Daredevil. Make sure to check it out, if you feel like you are bored or whatever and you want to read something to kill the time a little bit. Spoiler: Vermilion Daredevil - Lore https://automation-lore.fandom.com/wiki/Vermilion_Daredevil Also, I know this thread is more than 35 days old, but you know, this thread is just to make updates for my cars and stuff, so I'm gonna always update it whenever I'm going to make another mod or update something. Thanks for your time!
Another update, another resurrection for this thread. Oh well... Anyway, just a quick update here to say that the "2024 Vermilion Promethium" was renamed to "2024-2025 Vermilion Promethium", because a new year is here and that means new model year. But in this case, I've decided to remake the 2024 Promethium to fit with the modern design standards, which is why I've made the 2025 Promethium, so that's why the car was renamed. But, how different is this car facelift compared to the previous one? Left side is the 2024 model year, right side is the 2025 model year facelift. And here is the rear fascia of the 2025 and 2024 model years, respectively. Here is a better example, this 2025 Vermilion Promethium GTX-R 574 is a new trim made with the facelift. It has a 9.4L OHV V10 with output of 1140 bhp and 870 lb-ft of torque, up to a top speed of 259 mph (417 km/h). It's even more powerful than the 8.8L OHV V10 from the GTX 540, which produces 1076 bhp and 830 lb-ft of torque, and although the GTX-R 574 has higher downforce compared to the GTX 540, the top speed is the same for both trims. But that ended up with the cost of removing the 2024 SPV GT3-R 512, which is the Group GT3 car that will be only available for the 2025 version. The reason for this is because I've made some small changes, and that also messed up with the car weight, being lower than the 1200-1300 kg necessary for the competition in real life (let's pretend it's real life, okay?). And then, whenever I tried to copy and paste the car from the released files, which had the exact values for the car, there were issues with it, so I decided to remove it. And another important thing. The last version before the 6.0 (5.3 to be specific) had a issue that made the GTS 512 trim glitched with missing textures for the windows, and when I realized about that, I've had to wait the entire time until the BeamNG starts mod approvals for 2024, and that was a while, so it's fixed as soon as I saw the issue (hopefully). Okay, that's it. Sorry about the long text and stuff, and I hope you enjoy the mods as much as I do!
So, I forgot to update this thread, but there had been some few updates for my mods. Now, every mod has their specs for each trim in their repository pages. And also, I've updated three of my mods. Vermilion Motors was updated to use a 200M tech pool in game, so that means every car in the brand will have the same tech pool, and I have yet to update the other cars to the last Automation update, and all the updated cars might have slower acceleration, as a cost. I forgot to update this thread about the Vermilion, but the car pretty much has a more realistic handling, the 2024 Group GT3 car is back, and then both 2024 and 2025 Group GT3 race cars got a 6-speed sequential shifter instead of its previous 6-speed. And also, we've got a new trim, which is kinda of unique, if you ask me. Yes, I know this car was meant to be track cars, but I've also made a drag racing car, and I gotta say it's a pretty dangerous car, with a 9.0L Twin-Turbo OHV V10 boosted at 3061 bhp and 2510 lb-ft of torque. Pretty hard to drive it, but damn, this car can finish 1/4 mile at around 7.3 seconds in average, and if you can master its launch, maybe even high 6 seconds, but to master its launch is very hard, and even I couldn't master it myself. This car also has a 6-speed sequential shifter. As for the other two cars, the updated ones are both the Daredevil and Duke (trust me, the Duke really needed an update). The Vermilion Duke is now updated to use the new engine and handling versions equivalent to the Daredevil (except the Berserk Edition 7.6L V8 which the Duke doesn't have). The Daredevil has been updated when it comes to handling. Also, the Daredevil Berserk Edition engine was updated, now making extra 10 bhp, from the old 854 bhp to 864 bhp out of a 7.6L DOHC V8, but the torque remained the same 740 lb-ft of torque. The same Berserk Edition was also updated in the Promethium trim with its V10 engine swapped to the one in the Daredevil Berserk Edition. And I guess that's it. Thank you for downloading my mods! I appreciate the fact that my mods got lots of downloads so far, the '98-'05 Daredevil and the '24-'25 Daredevil with over 15K downloads each and the '24-'25 Promethium with over 45K downloads. Thank you so much for this!
Well, I guess I have a new update for y'all, but... Oh well... Anyway, I've made a massive rework for the Vermilion Promethium. Between December 31 and January 1, I've decided to make a new Cyberpunk version of the Promethium, but in the middle of the procedure I've made the 2025 Promethium as you know it. Well, I just decided that I wasn't happy with the design, and I saw some people like the previous design better, so I've posted an update that has the new remake of the 2025 model year of the Vermilion Promethium. So, basically we went from this: Spoiler: GTX 540 1 To this: Spoiler: GTX 540 2 Yeah, I've decided I needed to improve my design, so I did a major rework with the car. As you can see, the car now has red stripes, because I decided I had enough of very dark black stripes, so yeah. That's a whole difference, that's progress. Compare these two, for example: Spoiler: Drag Racer 1 And now this: Spoiler: Drag Racer 2 I guess you can't see the tail lights that much by looking at this car, but you can see the difference between the previous futuristic and bland lines to the new design. Well, I have a better image. Spoiler: GTX 540 Front and Rear Another thing that you can notice if you download the new version of the car is that the badge for the Promethium was changed to a Medusa inside a shield. The shield is colored according to the stripes (or according to the car paint, if the stripes aren't applied, if that does mean something). And also, the old version also got a trim with red stripes, and some others with white stripes. But that's not all, I've managed to update the Silver Anaconda, too. Remember my Cobra rip-off? Well, I have good news for you, as the car has a new variant for all the kinds of engines available for the car. Spoiler: Silver Anaconda That's right! It's a coupe variant! And also, as you can see, there are actually some real side exhausts now for the car. Well, that's it for today. Tomorrow, you're gonna get a small update of another mod that desperately needs a improvement. Thank you for reading!
Another update here, just to let y'all know that another mod has been updated. It's the 1996-2002 Vermilion Promethium that has been updated. I've made some small changes on the car, including the new medusa badge and some fixes for the car. The rear lights now work way better than the previous version. I'm sorry for not fixing this before, but now it's finally fixed, so I guess I have one thing that I don't have to worry much about. But anyway, I'm gonna put some pictures in here. Spoiler: 1996-2002 Promethium Pictures Also, there is something that is a really cool thing. Yeah, that's right! The 2024-2025 Vermilion Promethium now has over 50K downloads. Thank you so much for downloading the car and enjoying it! In the beginning, the car got a 4-star rating, because it didn't have sounds for some reason, but I fixed it and then the car got two 5-star ratings. We improve with the mistakes, so I'd like to thank everyone who downloaded my mods and those who look at my stuff, it means a lot for me! Thank you for reading and downloading my mods, and I hope y'all enjoy plaing my mods as much as I do!
Just a quick update that all the cars are now compatible with career mode, which means you can find them for sale in there. It has some issues with some prices, but I'll be trying to fix them eventually. Let me know if you ever find an issue with the mods.
Just a little update to say that I've found an issue with the grille fixture being placed crooked by accident in all the trims of the 2025 Vermilion Promethium variant of the 2024-2025 Vermilion Promethium mod. Well, I just fixed the crooked grille, and now it won't be an issue anymore. I apologize for not make notice about that before, and thank you for the patience (if you noticed the crooked grille leaned towards the left).
