Force high resolution

    I want to make a mod for BeamNG, but it will require a high resolution output. This output will be utilized by another program, so I just need to know, is there a way I can force BeamNG to output a higher resolution than my monitor without defaulting back to my monitor's max resolution? Answers can be code related as well. I would prefer not having to use an external application, I want my mod to be easy to set up, and not rely on any other program than BeamNG itself.
