Though of this one while listening to "Moby: Flower" and randomly driving an Ibishu Covet. Basically, you crash a car, post the picture here, and ask the community "Will it run?" I'll go first: Will it still run?
No, the battery would be completely fucked. The engine block would be badly damaged, pistons probably seized due to a warped engine block, that's if by some miracle the timing belt didn't come off during impact. the exhaust manifold completely broken as well as the intake manifold and the fuel rail. Sensors would be broken and wires would be shorted to power/ground or open.. lol
Well that's spoken very realistically erikg. It's true but I'm guessing this thread is game oriented. And even then the car is screwed. The Covet is very vulnerable to head on collisions. Anyways, here's mine: (The van not the truck)
the van looks out of service. the truck would most likely run for a little while until it overheats and you wouldn't be able to drive for very long cause of broken tranny cooler lines, and wouldnt have power steering either from loss of p/s fluid from busted oil cooler lines again.
believe it or not the van does drive. Not very efficiently but it works. And yeah. The steering is ruined on the truck and it probably wont last much longer.
This thread is like "Did I die?" But just different concept, I'll post mine when I get back to my computer.
I'd say once we add proper engine/radiator damage - that'd run, but not for long. You've used the crumple zone up almost entirely and the radiator's probably busted but I'd bet the engine, transmission, and driveline would still be fine.
No. Also, you can still suffer a pretty serious accident and still be able to drive. My mom accidentally rear ended a SUV in her old Chrysler T&C minivan which totaled it. It was a 20-25mph crash maybe? The hood, side drivers side panel, front end, and radiator were smooshed but it still drove onto the flatbed fine.
probably. I've seen some videos where the strut towers got broke and smashed into the hood but the car still drove, but not well ofc.
I wouldn't see why not. However, there may be distributor issues depending on how much the engine moved.
