There's two main things about the forums that I dislike, one of them is that is doesn't support Markdown in the editing section, and the other is emoji support. I really do think you should add these soon, we've needed this for a long time. With Markdown, we'll could finally get syntax highlighting as well. One of the main issues I think would be embedded links, but I'm sure you could disable those. I'm not exactly sure who works on the forums but I think it was tdev. That's about it from me, I have a darkmode extension and it sort of works so I'm not too fussed about dark mode anymore.
