My laptop is HP Omen 15 (Ryzen 4800H, RTX2060, 16GB). This all started the day before yesterday when I was getting less than 30FPS on the West Coast Map with high graphic settings and traffic enabled. Yesterday on the same map I was getting more than 40FPS with the same configs after I upgraded my GPU drivers. Today I was getting less than 30FPS again. The funny thing is that this never happened before. Lowering the settings doesn't do much. On the lowest setting possible I am getting just 10FPS more. Without traffic but with high graphic settings FPS is 70-80. If you spawn traffic the FPS drops obviously but when you stop traffic it stays that way. I have to exit the game and reenter for everything to be normal again. CTRL + Shift + F shows that GPU is bottlenecking. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

UPDATE. After I clear cache and start the game all is well. But if I try to restart it the FPS is the same. So basically I always need to clear the cache before playing the game. Anybody else has any experience with this?

I'm having FPS problems, but I have a GTX 1650, and nothing I do resolves the problem. I'm not sure if your issue is the same as mine, but the only way to fix the issue is to disable shadows. Maybe you can try that and see if anything improves? Also, what does your performance graph look like when the issue is occurring?

I "fixed" this by turning fullscreen on, i now only get these issues when in tunnels
It is still very annoying but its better at least, i also have a GTX 1650 :D

Hmm, interesting. My issue is present no matter the screen mode (Fullscreen, Windowed or Borderless), and it's been present for a while, and gradually getting worse every update. I also had a weird stuttering issue that wasn't related to the one I mentioned before, but I fixed it by turning Vsync to "On" for the BeamNG exe in Nvidia Control Panel...

The thing is that changing the graphic settings don't matter that much. When I change the settings from highest to lowest I just get 10 more FPS. Maybe this is because of the update. Although I'm not too sure...

From my experience on low end and mid laptops clearing cache helps massively. Idk about this specific issue though.

My issue is similar to yours, in the way that changing the graphics settings doesn't really make a difference... But I've tried everything I possibly could to fix it, but nothing worked. It might be some sort of problem with lower end GPUs or something... Also it doesn't appear to be the GPU driver either...

I've done that too, and no difference. I've also tried all this and nothing has worked lol:

    -Safe Mode
    -Rolled back graphics driver
    -Reinstalled BeamNG
    -Clean Boot
    -Used Integrated Graphics
    -Uninstalled Windows updates
-Performed a "Power/Hard Reset" (Disconnected battery, and held down power button for 30 seconds, then reconnected the battery)
    -Disabled Anti-Virus Software
    -Reinstalled Windows 10
-Installed BeamNG on Windows Drive instead of 2nd SSD

I'm certain it is either a bug in the game, or Windows itself, although, I find it unlikely a Windows update would cause something like this to happen...
