FR17 unable to move

Greetings. When I load the FR17 right now, the car turns to the right and in neutral gear. I can shift it into gear, but it moves on its own and the brakes don't work. I can shift it into reverse and still moves in reverse, the setting wheel still to the right. The steering, accelerator, brakes, steering and other things don't work, apart from selecting screens. May I know what is happening, and how to fix it?

 

For me it works fine, maybe one of your key bindings overwrites the brake key.
If no short circuit is present in your settings, remember that the mod was released 7 years ago and BeamNG no longer supports the majority of old mods, the problem may be right here.

 

i mainly use a controller and all other mods work, and I've just checked and found no conflicts with my bindings. Also, I see videos of these cars crashing, which means they most likely work. it's such a poor thing especially when i want to see how F1 would be like in BeamNG

 

Did you tried with your keyboard? And also driving a car like that is better with a steering wheel like the Thrustmaster Formula Wheel.

 

using the Keyboard doesn't work. When I used a UI app that shows throttle, brake, parking brake and clutch input, it shows the parking brake is at its max and throttle and braking inputs are not registered despite being properly keyed in. THe Steering also doesn't move and is tilted slightly to the left

 

Is it the first time you load the FR17 or has this been happening recently?

 

I've loaded this a couple of times and this "cry for help" in its "official forum" has been dead for some time. It's been happening ever since I first installed it

 

No one answered you because you bumped the FR17 thread. Maybe you can send a pm to the author, even if he didn't logged in since some months.

 

I messaged the author of the mod, but no response from him as of now

Deactivate all other mods and clear cache

 

Weirdly, that worked. Mods for FR17 also work. Time to diagnose what mods made it unfunction
