Freightliner buys engines from Cat, Cummins, etc. Transmission from Eaton etc. Then they make chassis from scratch, install engines, transmission, axles etc. to that chassis. Chassis is like this, you can drive that around: Then someone buys that chassis from Freightliner and builds an RV or bus or whatever on top of that chassis. Usually Thomas has used Ford or International chassis though, but I see it became really confusing at 90's. Thomas did make schoolbuses for a long time, I guess Freightliner did acquire Thomas at 90's and hence this bus has Freightliner chassis and Thomas body?
^ ninjad ^ Freightliner manufactures the chassis, then companies like Carpenter, Thomas, and Blue Bird build the bodies that go on the chassis
I thought that there is already a school bus called the dansworth d1500 front engine and the d2500 the rear engine
Not too much progress. Been busy with client projects and real life crap Played with wheel sizes a bit, this seems to be correct. Also worked on the front window frame some
Looks great man! Keep it up. Also, if things are going on, dont worry about modding. Take care of yourself first and come back when you're ready! Don't worry about us... we can wait!
Agreed this is less import than real life unless your a weeabo they don't even now what real life is *nervous laugh* *dieing inside* *whisper* help me.
Whoops, totally missed this reply! Doors, and stop signs naturally. I have an idea for opening doors / other "start closed" things on the drawing board, that I plan to test on official vehicles at some point.
From all the good projects you've done i think this would be a peace of cake for you man i wish the best of luck.
After 5 years, will you still be working on this? i want the mod to be in my game so i can destroy it!
Having another school bus would be cool, I liked the old bluebird bus before it got changed to Dansworth.
