Freshman question - How to Install mods?

Hi there! As you probably figured out, I am quite new to NGdrive.

I have searched around the forum, but cant find any solutions that works out for me.

I have downloaded different mods, and put them into the steamapps -> common -> Beamng.drive -> contents -> vehicles folders (the zip files)

When I launch beamng, i cant find any of them (car crusher, semi etc).

Is there any "noobs guide to beamNG" anywhere? How can I make these work? Do I have to unzip them and spread them around?

I hope someone can help me out here

 

1 . download any mod
2 . open the mod
3 . open all files until car name appears
4 . copy & paste or extract the folder
5 . .....
6 . profit !
