Wanted to try and get the Gavril H-series Addon by AR162B & SergentFido into a functional, useable state due to the fact of how many people I keep seeing wanting it working or attempting to fix it. the mod really needs fully remaking because of proportion and jbeam changes to the H-Series, But with a couple workarounds it is possible to get it functioning again.. if you have about 5 days worth of spare time that is.
    20250420132603_1.jpg 20250420121416_1.jpg 20250420134523_1.jpg 20250420132748_1.jpg
I have tried to get as much working as I can, most if not everything from the original mod works to some degree which seems to be a miracle considering how old this thing is, though there are still many bugs and weird oddities so ill add a known issues list of things I can think of off the top of my head in case anyone wants to update this further:
I still dont know how the new game features like moving shifters, new lights and openables work so they are not in this mod,
Manual stuff is missing (gearstick and clutch pedal I believe),
    Radiator is stupidly powerful,
    Some lights have wrong textures,
Some roof spotlights have broken shattered textures,
The mod still uses the old hitch system for the Gooseneck fifth wheel and maybe on some other hitches,
Newer H-Series parts may not work with this,
I've had to port back the old frame Jbeam to make it work as that was what was causing it to explode in the first place,
Some lights don't break due to texture issues,
Old style taillights glowmaps don't seem to work,
Only selectable interior on the custom bodies is the old interior due to the new one falling through the floor,
Broken glass textures can be invisible (I believe this is due to my model placement in the uv),
    Probably lots of other stuff.
I have not asked for permission to post this from either AR162B or SergentFido due to them both being rarely online, if you or anyone from the original dev team wants this taken down let me know and ill take it down asap.
I myself have no issues with people updating this further to fix or add more features (openables etc) though the original author(s) could still potentially take any files down if they wanted to, so if you do update it do it at your own risk as this file and yours could be potentially taken down.
    CREDITS:
    - Most new parts are BeamNG's original D15, H15, H45 and Moonhawk parts or (greatly) based on original BeamNG parts, so BeamNG
"SergentFido for the beautiful new Van interior design, interior & exterior textures and skins, mesh improvements, ideas, feedback, testing support etc etc.
    - Myself (AR162b) for all other parts
    - Aboroath, Peterbilt, Synsol and MrAngry for testing and feedback
    - oshawott for the interior idea
    - Synsol for the fifth wheel idea
    - JorgePinto for te classic door handle idea
    - Dummiesman for his showroom used for the picture on the mobile billboard and the preset pictures
    - www.myfreetextures.com for the rust textures, used as base
I would like to thank "YİĞİT 2" for their explanation of what was wrong with the body jbeam on his review of the original mod causing the rear suspension to get stuck on the left as it was really helpful in getting it fixed.

    Updated 4/27/2025:
Hopefully stopped interior conflicting with another fix for AR162B's D-Series addon,
    Edited some sidedoor models.

Please keep in mind that this is a 7+ year old mod!
I don't really have anything else to say but enjoy.

    Minor update:
Hopefully stopped interior conflicting with another fix for AR162B's D-Series addon,
    Edited some sidedoor models.

    Download on first post.
I don't know if that would be worth fixing or not as I may have to add an entire new body to the H-Series to make it work, which seems a little overkill for such a small mod.

I ain't gonna lie when I say I thought you would be creating a pre-0.xx version of the H-Series to have this mod working in the current game version haha. Great work!

is it just me or is the H45 variants missing the heavy duty 8 lugs? I could have sworn I saw this H-series being capable of using heavy duty 8-lug wheels back then

Since the van keeps exploding on the current h series frame, why couldn't you just remove the frame jbeam
