    Hello,

    (i apologize im french)
I just beginning to play racing game and simulation game with the logitech g29 on PC.
I am not very satisfied with my settings, so I come to ask you for advice.

    - I understand that FFB feeling depend of users, so i try to manage the FFB strengh to feel like my real car direction assist. I don't know if its a good way to feel FFB (I am not used to drift or drive at high speeds in real life).

    - about the FFB smoothing, do you have advice to correctly differentiate FFB vibrations and road details ? (my real car produce many vibrations on high speed roads, but i suppose more recent car don't)

    - I have a last problem, really unconfortable, and I don't really understand if it's a normal car behavior or a FFB problem. But when i do a swerve on the road, my FFB recenter the steering wheel too much and the car turn in the other direction, and then FFB center, but too much, ... Like an unstable "asservissement" (I don't really know the word in English, but i talk about PID controller for instance ). So the car oscillates from right to left. For me even at high speed (i never go irl above 130 kph), if you realease the steering wheel the car go straight without infinite oscillations.

NB : I didn't touch to settings in logitech gaming software

    Thank you for all information

Have you already seen our official guide?
    https://wiki.beamng.com/Steering_wheel_setup

If not, give it a look. It pretty much covers and explains everything you have to know about the steering wheel setup, and will help you through configuring the FFB to your own preference.
It also explains how you can reduce the oscillations at low speed. It's an FFB side-effect that happens in most games, and it's due to it bouncing left/right, and doing a chain reaction with the wheels that are also bouncing left/right due it.

Thank you for your answer, yes i already readed this page, that was very usefull to understand some things about FFB.
But the only way to avoid boucing is to have hig smoothing and low strengh ?
I understood that smoothing is for manage vibration like smaller oscillations.
