Game crashed after setting up a 3-vehicle race and resetting vehicles

This happened yesterday when I had 3 vehicles and I set one of them to chase another and have that one flee from the chaser (I was driving the 3rd vehicle), then reset all of them to their starting positions. Game crashed I think with a heap corruption message. I haven't tried again.

When setting the AI target vehicle, it would also be nice to have more descriptive names as I don't know which number applies to which vehicle.

 

Those are license plate numbers. If the vehicle has plates, thats how you can know which is which.

 

Weird. In my game, the license plates all have my Steam name posted on them. No numbers.

 

did you set a default vehicle, because your default plate overwrites everything else

 

I do have a default vehicle. I'll take a look tonight and see if I can find the default plate settings.

 

I had a look but I didn't see how to set the default text on a license plate. In the garage where I see my default vehicle, you can only pick the plate design, not what it says. During game play, you can edit what the plate says but it's temporary.

Anyway, no big deal. The main purpose of the thread was to report the crash. And suggest more straight-forward naming of the target vehicle.
