The experimental branch of this game is a nightmare when trying to edit anything on the map, I cant even catagorize the bug properly, its just a "Crash all the time when editing anything" bug, move a car: crash, move a building: crash, Go into edit mode: crash, Go out of edit mode: crash,

How are people creating full maps in this build? or are they?

Damn good questions indeed. There are a few in here who've solved some serious riddles. I'm going to hang out with the stable as far as maps go and keep an eye peeled for
answers from those who have more time than me. A question I have is how is the experimental build affecting the general T3D file structure that makes doing levels more of a hassle.
As it stands now, there's nothing in the experimental build worth my sanity.

Stable is too much of a jump back. I saved a copy of the previous experimental to keep working on my mods.

It seems that the new toys (props and vehicles) are locked to the experimental build only, try loading them in the stable build and there are booby traps (semi with no wheels). I want to use the new toys in the stable build, cant even enjoy the new stuff in the experimental build because the game crashes waay too much, spent hours trying to get it to work, went back to stable build

They are not "locked" to anything and its not a booby trap. Please get this dumb idea out of your head, I've read like 4 posts you've made on this topic. New exp builds have new features, and new vehicles. The stable build doesn't have those features yet because they haven't got them finished or STABLE. Duh.

The entire theory of the experimental build release is to give the community a chance to see what the devs are up to and provide an avenue for the community to
give feedback, that's wonderful and a lot of people really dig it. As I've played with it over time I realized there are things going on in experimental that I do not
have the time to devote to figuring out much less get creative with them ( mutli-dae is a prime example ). You need to realize and understand what's going on
in experimental and why it was released. The devs have explained to my satisfaction what and why things are being done and that the stable build isn't going
    anywhere.

I've tried like hell to get the T75 to show up in stable but it just isn't going to happen. I too have an experimental build back up and if I want the semi I can get it
anytime. Sooner or later these features and vehicles will show up in a stable form.

So you're not using the latest experimental?

Bottom line is if you want to play BeamNG and make maps, mods, etc. use the stable release, if you want to just play without any modding by all means the experimental is excellent. < is that about right?

Basically if you want to make maps : Use stable
Want to make vehicles : Use experimental, new features and such. Just wait for the fixed parts system :p
