game crashes when I try to couple nodes (even in safe mode)

I was pulling a trailer up a hill on West coast, and the truck (T-series) couldn't make it with how heavy the trailer was, i then decided to pull both the truck and trailer with another truck (D-series), as soon as I lined up the truck and tried to couple the 2 nodes of the D-series tow hitch and the front bumper of the T-series, my game crashed. I then tried it on grid map with 2x D-series and the same thing, then again in safe mode, crashed, then i tried just the single D-series and ripped the door off and tried to attach it, yet again it crashed out of the blue, no codes at any times.
