Game crashing on Replay of Recording-- one thing I noticed

I don't think I'm supposed to have to do this, but when the game crashes upon hitting "Play" on a replay recording, I find this helps.

1. Always start the game with the map that the recording was done in.
2. Always switch to the vehicle that the recording was done in (first person).

3. Never start a replay sequence by hitting "replay" from the main menu. Always start a session live with the two stipulations above accounted for, then go into replay, select the recording to play back, and the replay should work without crashing.

This seems to help tremendously and is the vital difference between crashing and not crashing the game. Has anyone else noticed this? Is there something that can be done to help prevent having to go through all this, just to avoid a replay crash?
