Hello all, I've encountered an extremely frustrating issue recently. If I try spawning in more than one vehicle, at random (50% chance of it happening), the game will freeze with the clock loading UI screen. I can't access the UI, change vehicles, or access the free-roam camera. Resetting Lua and vehicle lua (CTRL + L and CTRL + R) doesn't do anything, and it's been happening more and more frequently lately. I've gotten rid of any mods I deemed could be causing this issue, but all the mods I have left are mods I have had since before the problem started happening. Any feedback and suggestions would be greatly appreciated, thanks.

I know it's like looking for a needle in a haystack, but you could check the log files (beamng.log). You'll find them in the user directory. Start from the bottom and work your way up, looking for lines marked with |E| for Error. Maybe you can find something that gives you a clue.

I tried to find something that could lead me somewhere, but the only error files I saw were just from some part of a mod that I didn't (failed to load in configs from part of modpack). It's really frustrating because again, this only started happening recently. I also uninstalled BeamMP, after noticing on the troubleshooting page that it can cause problems, but still to no avail.

Can you reproduce the freezing (wait one minute) and than provide the "beamng.log" file here (as attachment)? Maybe hopefully community eyes (or mine) may spot something...

I'll try to do so when I have the chance! I've been a bit busy lately.

Hey, I've got those logs for you! I've got 3 different ones so we can pinpoint what may be causing it better. I was also getting a pop-up that was saying something about an 'Unresponsive UI Error'. Unfortunately I cannot screenshot it for some reason, and the one time I tried to take a pic of it with my phone it didn't show. I will try to reproduce the error again when I have some time. Meanwhile, here are the log files. I hope we can continue the thread, I've just been held down lately!

    Hey,
I just opened your "beamng.log" since this is the newest one. Scrolled upwards and didn't found any hint for a deeper, obvious complication. Funny that the log file ends abrupt, what means BNG has even not finished the last line of log. Even more funny is the last event that is marked as an error:
    905.53590|E|GELua.gameplay_statistic.endAct| no activity
Hahaha! Activity is what you are waiting for... Very strange error message! Like a deadlock...

Honestly I am not pumped up with knowledge , but as I would say there is no problem with external things (mods or wrong installation), because they would be clearly listed as errors.

I have sometimes the problem with the UI completely not in sync what BNG currently is doing (no map loading screen, menu beeping but not reacting and so on). And also the error "UI not responding" is not new for me. I have tried to find a reason in my log files: No success :(.

But these days I gained new hope here:
    https://www.beamng.com/threads/0-33-will-be-delayed.99106/
It seams that they realized to make a deep maintenance. I can imagine, that we just wait for a overhauled BeamNG core and see if our problems continue to exist.

    How do you think?
    Nice day!

Seems like your game files are corrupted for some reason. Maybe one of your mods, try to search for any broken T-Series mod and delete it. If this only happens with the T-Series.
If this happens with every vehicle, try to verify integrity with Steam.

Hmmmm... I can only see a minor mirror problem in your cutout screenshot as an error. Others are warnings and maybe the mod is trash. But this is not a reason for the whole game to freeze like it happens to JayBlazin454, imo. It's worth a try though, anyways...

Broken game files can result to freezes, crashes, glitches...

My most used T series mod is the EFC one (amazing mod)! It was updated recently, so I will go and have a look. unfortunately, I have tried many times to verify integrity and clear the cache, but it works to no avail. Maybe the mod really is the problem, but do remember uninstalling it and it happening again. I will try and experiment and report back to you!

When you uninstall a mod, clear the cache in Deep Mode to make sure it's entirely uninstalled.

Hey guys, so the game has just been updated. I have been extremely busy with work, but I will update the game and see if the issue persists. I do remember one thing I did do recently. I don't know if it was before or after the issues really started happening frequently, but I changed the directory of the user files. I have two drives now, so I wanted the game files (moved to my new drive) to be on the same drive as the user files. I would have thought this would prevent any issues, but I guess more work needs to be done. I find it hard to believe that any of my mods are causing the issue, as you guys have seen in my log files.

What steps can I take next to try and fix the issue? Thanks.

Let's try again :), if I had the problem I would try the following steps:
    1. Go to your user folder and move (away to desktop) the complete mods folder.
    2. Do the same with the vehicles, the levels and the settings folders.
    3. Then delete the temp folder.
    4. Then do deep clear cache. (It's kinda double, I know, but let's do it).
    5. Start BeamNG in save mode. (Again double)
    6. Try if the problem occours with only vanilla cars now on gridmap.
    • If the problem is solved it was a mod (or map). Only move back again some needed mods step by step.
    • If the problem keeps existing try to find out if your second hard drive is an issue:
    1. Disconect internet hardwareside. (yes I would do so if I hadn't a closed firewall)
    2. Disable your system- or any antivirus software (or make a exception for both the BeamNG installation path and the user path).
    3. Try again if the problem remains.
    • If the problem is solved now maybe there were some kind of access interference? Edit: I am thinking of this, because of what I found here in the Documantation Pages. Could be a freezing reason.
    • If the problem keeps existing ask again or contact the support.
Maybe this brings a little progress into your situation, I hope...

Thanks, sorry for late reply, I've been busy, but I truly appreciate your help. I will try these things and report back. Thanks again!
