Game underclocks GPU.

My PC can play this game at 60fps although for some reason now It makes the GPU run at 500Mhz for the core and 15Mhz for the memory which lowers my FPS to around 10-20 which is pretty unplayable.

GPU is a R9 280x with a FX-6300 For the cpu.

 

Been having an issue with my card for well over a year now it refuses to go above or below 850 MHz when stock clock is 1000 on the one I have recently its been going to 501 MHz haven't found any solution to it other than restarting computer but that only works for a hour

 

Whar are your temperatures? Are you using the performance power plan in windows?

 

I would recommend installing this https://www.hwinfo.com/

It can show GPU temperatures and if there is throttling which would be lowering GPU speeds to protect it from damage.
