Whenever I click to launch the game like I launch every other game, it's a normal startup and steam says it's running, though the application never actually appears on my screen, and doesn't even show that it's open on my taskbar. I go to double-click again to run it, and Steam says that the game is already running. My antivirus was disabled while I downloaded it, so there shouldn't be a problem there. I've tried the following:

    - Clean install/reinstall
    - Restart my PC
    - Verify Integrity Files
    - Run program as administrator
    - Changing install location

    My specs are the following:
    Ryzen 7 2700x [no overclock]
    RX 580 8GB
    MSI B350 PC Mate
Samsung 970 EVO NVMe M.2 SSD 500 GB [game stored here]
    16 GB DDR4 Ram [4x4]
    Corsair 650W Power Supply
    Windows 10

Try clearing Cache or running in safe mode.

Try launching it without steam client(go to local files, start the exe. file by itself.)
OT: We have the same CPU and GPU!

Tried that, didn't work either :(
And that's awesome! I'm planning to upgrade my GPU to an RTX when I can

I've tried that as well, neither seemed to work. Currently on my second time reinstalling the game to one of my other drives.

That's usually caused by some program blocking the game from doing certain actions.
Please check if you have any of these:
    https://documentation.beamng.com/support/compatibility.html
And make sure that your antivirus, and similar software are not blocking the game by mistake.

If you are unable to located the source of the issue, you may try to change your Userfolder location (by default is Documents/BeamNG.drive)
To do so, use the Launcher > Manage Userfolder menu. You may try a location that does not require special permissions to use (ie. C:\BeamNG.drive)

I have Windows Defender disabled, but I do have OneDrive and I'm unsure on how to disable the "Controlled Folder Access" if it's not disabled already.

You should not disable Windows Defender entirely, but check if you have the Controlled Folder Access enabled only (it is usually disabled by default. If it's enabled, it will block most programs from access the Documents folder)

This page shows how to check:
    https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/4046851/windows-10-allow-blocked-app-windows-security

Else, try the alternative I posted in my previous message.

For some odd reason, the game actually just ran normally. I mentioned I had already restarted my computer many times prior to posting, but after leaving it off for a good amount of time it decided to work without making any changes.
