You may be able to add cars but it is definitely not going to be free, as that has already been stated numerous times on the Rigs of Rods forums.

I sometimes get annoyed when people ASSUME stuff and write that without knowing if the source is reliable SO instead of assuming that it is like that just because alot of people write it its better to go directly to the real source.

    If you check http://www.beamng.com/faq.php?faq=beamng#faq_costmoney

    They say:

[h=2]Will it cost money?[/h]Probably, yes. We're still discussing this.

So until further notice we dont know ;)

Gabester has been hinting that it will cost money. Look at the Licensing vehicles thread please. And if it costs $10, why not just dish it out? It's dirt cheap for a game with true soft body physics, and I wouldn't be surprised within the first year of it being released some people will be modding the heck out of it. $10 is nothing unless your a 10 year old kid.

Nope. It's a physics engine to be used by other games.

There probably won't be a so called "demo" but rather an alpha test, or even a beta test if the game is that far along. However, I don't know if they would rather just wait to release the whole game as a 'paid for' game. Only time will tell...

BTW: great title of the thread... :p

If this is a payware, then wtf i'm doing here...
realy, if this is going to be payware, you are going to lose many players..
Because this is not gta IV or somthing where you don't get bored, this is just take a car and crush it into wall..

    Edit:
Aswell, don't forget the Cryengine licence once this is payware..

    Tire

u know what would be nice tires that went flat when u jumped off something too high or crash and the bumper punctures the tire and then as you ride on the rim there will be sparks and eventuley it will kill the car like In police chases not like gta where you can go forever .

Unlikely some kids under 15 cannot afford 10$ or about :( To be honest, I would pay for it even if it would be for free. Just to support all beamng crew, You and things you do are awesome!!

If you find Grand Theft Auto/Need for Speed/etc. more entertaining than Rigs of Rods or BeamNG, then you came to the wrong place.

Personally, I found modifying/creating content in Rigs of Rods more entertaining than doing missions in a video game. Even if Rigs of Rods or BeamNG wouldn't be modifiable, you can still just enjoy the physics and overall experience of driving/piloting the vehicles.

Also, I love how people say "I don't have money for this game" but chances are 99.9% of those people own a $200 X-Box, with a $60 copy of Call of Duty, and not to mention other expenses.
