Gamepad turns front wheels farther than steering wheel

When using a steering wheel (Thrustmaster T128), it will not turn as tightly as a gamepad will, no matter what settings I adjust. The gamepad turns a tighter turn. How do I fix this so that I can get the tighter turn on the steering wheel? I tried increasing the linearity - no difference. Makes it rough to navigate those sharp mountain switchbacks.

Practise turning the wheel faster.

 

That still doesn't go full lock on the front wheels.

 

make sure the wheel's steering angle is the same as it's in the game.

 

change the 1:1 behaviour to faster if needed

 

Thanks. Setting the driver and beamng to 540, and playing around with 1:1 behaviour (disabled if needed) fixed the "problem".
