2D version is easier to use. Its hard to use a fill tool when the truck is reflective.

I've yet to see a render version because I would have used that. But I really just wanted to get ideas flowing for me personally, since I wanna make real paint schemes (new and old) for the mod. So I wouldn't classify people as "stupid" if they preferred a different method.

The best way i found is to create the skin as a new layer in gimp and set it to multiply then it look reflective. Thats how i did it for my designs

Have you ever heard of something called PATIENCE! Stop rushing the dev, it gets really annoying when you ask when something is ready.

or here's an interesting thing, make it yourself, someone posted a blank template to paint over, so rather that being an annoying ass kid, be patient and paint it yourself

How do you do skins (sorry I'm a bit of a dummie). Can you do it on photoshop or only on blender (and yes I know blender is for 3d models) or whatever? I might make an Aussie one just for fun. Besides it helps me develop my skills for skins for when I begin on making the car thats in my profile pic at the end of the year.

    Paint.net (free)
GIMP (my personal favourite, open source)
    Photoshop (not free)

Yeah gimp is what i use to make mine, its got layers so it makes skining and even those design concepts very much easier

Its a nice idea. If i cant find some spare time i will. Were should i post it?
    --- Post updated ---
    Speaking of spare time...
I know i said i was aiming for febuary to release this but nothing is set in concrete
and with only one day left to make that deadline im pretty sure we need a new target. Ive decided im gona stop making promises i cant keep. I will try to keep you all more updated on the progress of this mod but im not gona set any dates untill its close to done. I am a year 11 student wich means i am busy with school. So finding spare time for this has been tough. As i have said many times i have no intentions of giving up or abandoning this project. I have been working on it sice august last year and have put far to much tim and effort into it to just throw it all away.
So just sit tight. It will come one day
