Inspired by the one started on the forums, I decided to do my own. I still have some loose ends to fix, but as a whole, it's ready. CREDITS: Gabester for the D15 and rims Bob for the tires, axles, and suspension links. Don't use anything off of it unless you ask me first ok. EDIT: Updated the zip file, redownload it please.
Re: Gavril D15 6x6 Lets hope you get that download link back up soon, I am kinda excited about testing this vehicle out because of the dual rear axles...
Re: Gavril D15 6x6 Sorry again, I had to leave for work, then was told to come in later... anyways... It should now be fixed.
Re: Gavril D15 6x6 I noticed on yours, mrniz, that the leaf springs detached when they spawned. Maybe if a little bar was added to hold them to the frame, maybe that would work. Also, like I said before, you can add more nodes/beams (I don't know which one) to strengthen the other parts of the body. Also, I have a temp fix to the tire problem: Just change the datsun720_BFG_Tex texture in the material editor to one of the common offroad tire textures from the common folder. Also, if you want to know how to make your screenshots save as JPEGs, it is in the prefs file. On line 100, it says "$pref::Video::screenShotFormat = "PNG";" Change the PNG to JPG, and then it now saves as JPEGs! Now it won't take as long to load the pictures on the forum!
Re: Gavril D15 6x6 It's perfectly fine. I am enjoying this mod as well! I just really hope that niz can get his to work as well.
Re: Gavril D15 6x6 its got fantastic grip I do love the Stage 1 and stage 2 engines in it, it can handle that power without difficulty a job well done there!, so how did you fix the problem of the dual rear axles then can you tell us please?
Re: Gavril D15 6x6 He is using a different suspension system, and it looks like there are reinforcing bars on the bottom. I don't really know my suspension types, but I know this just has more reinforcement.
Re: Gavril D15 6x6 Interesting point I mean its not the standard suspension that was something MrNiz666 was trying to do but he isnt getting anywhere with it I think dkutch has the solution...change the suspension...it looked truck like to me but i donno...
Re: Gavril D15 6x6 The suspension on this is all me in the node and beam. It basically has the front n/b axle setup from one of my really old projects, and then two of my Datsun 720 n/b rear axles. All 3 are 4 linked to the chassis, with a panhard bar. All the evidence is right in that zip file in the first post.
