I'm on mobile rn and can't post and pics, but thanks to @D-Troxx the Bluebuck rear suspension swap now works!! Which means... More realistic hot rods and rats, lowrider configs and more flush!!
it looks very good, but they had shiny paint. Mabye put in some color, like a warm red or a yellow. Mabye headlights covers and contrast wheels would be really cool. also, have a tucker nascar for good measure
A Tucker Torpedo race car, gee now I've seen it all. And oh my god a '58 Chevrolet racer, I hope they had good funeral insurance
Yeah I've put in a little work to that livery since then, added some company logos and whatnot - not sure about the driver name yet tho. And headlight covers, WHY DID I NOT THINK OF THAT!?
Preston Tucker himself wanted to race the torpedo. This photo was taken in the early-mid fifties. The rubber suspension was very good on the track but i didn't hold up well. also the cord 110 tranny was temperamental in normal driving, let alone in a race context
Btw skin looks like this rn. could be better, but I'm not very good at liveries - headlight cover turned out fine tho.
Finally managed to scratch jbeam sunvisors and zoomie exhausts for the I8! NOW this looks like a real hot rod. Donk much? (custom rims... took me way too long to execute) --- Post updated --- I'm sure this was somebody's idea up here in the forums : ETK I6 swap with full options, resto mod. Has see-thru hood because why not
Are you going to do Ventiports at some point ? and I think you should lower the angle of the sunvisor just a tad, looks a bit out of place going straight forward
That see-through hood looks nice! It reminds me of this Hot Wheels casting: (not my pic but I have that same car in my collection)
JATOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!! WORKING TV USING YOUR OWN VIDEO! Goes in interior slot, thank you very much. I'm proud of it.
i love it, but i think that it would have something like a special engine (turbine engines/rotary). I know that people will say that these engines are unealistiic but we are dealing with a v12 powered roadmaster here... Also rotary engines were in their infancies and a concept car with one is fittig. The turbine engine might be right for a concept of the era but then it coud have some 50s jet ornaments in the tailights or something like that
