I drive my car in manual mode without clutch assistant and it works tremendously and I also use clutch while shiftting. However, If i drive for about a minute or 2, the gears will start to break and the broken gears would be basically neutral with no drive. I don't know whats the problem, is it the car or how i drive? I use keyboard to play and ive tested the clutch it works. please help, i love this game but this part annoys me so much.

You can't really use a clutch properly with a keyboard. Imagine driving a car in real life by popping the clutch as hard as you can every time you use it.

I have found that if you set the clutch to use the same keys as gear up and down it will engage clutch as soon as you change gear, meaning less broken gears.

Thanks. i think it might be my driving style, because the second i press shift, i press up or down pretty much immediately ( with a few ms of delay)

With using the clutch on the same key as gear up and gear down, make sure you set the filtering speed to direct so it engages as fast as possible.

Before messing around with the bindings just try setting the filtering of the clutch to direct.
The way it works atm is that keys have a fairly large filtering applied, so it takes a while before the clutch is fully "pressed".
By setting it to "direct" this does not happen.
However the clutch will be less smooth and more jerky. (Doesn't affect vehicle life span as of now)

Controls menu > Search for 'Clutch' > Click the binding > Filter to 'Direct' > Apply
