Could you put back the old gearbox, who changes faster without putting the clutch down for ten minutes.
You know that the new one is more 'correct' than the older one? A lot of time and effort went into making it as correct as possible. Maybe we just need to tune some cars shifting points further. On what car (exact configuration name) you think it shifts too slowly?
Well I sure am enjoying it. You can actually stall the car now and have to start it back up again. I've been waiting for an update like this, driving in manual feels more realistic now
Well my problem is that i like to make race cars. Than it's nice to shift as fast as possible. And another problem is that some of the cars wont work. Maybe the game does not support the mods that good anymore?
We have a compatibility system for mods using the old transmission system, but it may not work 100% of the time. This is part of how modding a game under development works. We try as hard as we can to maintain old mods compatible, but sometimes it's just not possible. Those mods need to be updated (We already notified most of the modders involved)
Oke, I'll wait and see what happends to the game. It is already better than a year ago. Now I hope the updates will get better every time.
Do you play with the DCT in the cars? Arcade automatic? do you play with clutch assisted manual? PS: Hey nadeox, will you include race-sequential manual into the game? if you ever remove the clutch assisted manual since its not exactly realistic it would be great to have it, since it would work as a basically lighter DCT with no auto option.
Clutch Assist is for users that do not want to deal with pressing their clutch, or that do not have a wheel with pedals.. It's a game aid.
Just go into the Gameplay settings and magically there will be an option to disable all the assistants, leaving you with a bare manual
Sure, nothing too fancy about them, you'd need to implement the actual device and also adjust the shifting logic. Maybe one day we'll have it by default
