I'm just saying that it is ok for supercars to be a little on the crazy spectrum, and should not be compared to average cars. I like it when supercar designers just say "I want a giant grille!" and then make it. Its a supercar, it is supposed to be offensive anyways.
Then why do supercars like the LFA have smaller grilles? It doesn't need a big grille to work properly, because these supercars (like the LFA) show you don't need a big grille at all.
Thats the great thing about supercars, there really are no rules because they are made to break rules.
Still, I hate how the big grille is executed. The rest is okay, but just the grille (and maybe the taillights arrangement as well.)
Keeps getting worse for Uber... https://arstechnica.com/cars/2018/0...bled-by-ubers-self-driving-software-ntsb-says Supposedly Uber disabled their emergency braking systems when a person was in the drivers seat, to prevent erratic behaviour (aka, they literally disabled the emergency breaking systems because their software didn't work). Volvo's automatic collision detection software was also disabled by default (which is fair enough [because two conflicting systems], but it could have prevented the accident on its own without any of Ubers "self driving" stuff). The cars sensors, "saw" the pedestrian 6 seconds before impact, and if Ubers code had used the breaks, would have been able to stop without impact. The driver also wasn't looking at a mobile phone, apparently Uber made them monitor log messages on touchscreen devices while the vehicles drove around. So they were checking the vehicles log files and hence didn't see the person in time to take action. At a guess, I would assume the log files were probably quite active upon the point where the vehicle noticed someone in the road and didn't know how to respond, as such the driver got distracted by that. But that is just a guess on my behalf.
The LFA is also NA while the Ferrari is turbo'd. Maybe they need most of the heat distribution. And the grille isn't even obtrusive. It's not over styled, and blends really well with the splitter part. I don't get your unending hatred for it.
Of course nobody understands my s**t anyways.... Also, what makes the design of the SP38 any better than the Sergio?
The shape is more or less no different to most other mid engined supercars of its sort of size. Louvres have also been done a number of times before by many brands, for example:
Not the body, I mean the very rear of the vehicle, where you can see the taillights, exhausts, and the rear bumper.
