I'm buying this PC. Not a new one as I don't want to spend too much money. I'm not a super enthusiast gamer :p
It's like new, not overclocked and always kept clean from dust.

    Case: Antec Three Hundred
    CPU: Intel Core i7 860
    RAM:
    4 x 2 Gb Corsair 1333 MHz DDR3
    GPU: MSI R7970 TF 3GD5/OC
    MoBo: Asus P7P55D
HDD: Toshiba 7200 RPM 1 TB (plus my own Samsung SSD)
    PSU: Bequiet System Power 700W

Any thoughts? I'm buying it for 400 Euros (approx. 440 USD).

    Are you high again...

A leaked LCD screen funnily enough involves the LCD literally leaking its fluid out of the display everywhere and causes it to no longer display. Nothing to do with the touch screen.

I've only seen something like that on devices with a damaged digitizer, quite possibly why it was sold for £25.

6677 I do not appreciate that. I personally had one tablet lose touch capability due to internal LCD damage, written off as a leaking LCD. Until you are a manufacturer of these parts, and a certified repair refurbish man, stop trolling my emotions, k, thanks, good bye.

For reference, this is a leaking LCD:

The digitisers are usually bound to the surface of the LCD but can be damaged seperately quite easily (they are fragile).
I personally have a nexus 7 here with cracked glass and digitizer but intact LCD.

It probably doesn't have enough power. You still got the 960 running? If you do, don't. Use one or the other, not both. If you are running on integrated graphics and the 9600GT still doesn't work, then the card has a problem.

No point keeping the 9600gt. Obsolete.

That and as stated. Your rig can't power it.

Well, that went unexpectedly. Instead of getting sent to a desktop with a failing drive, it is a HP Pavilion DV9000, which I tore apart a DV6000 a couple of months ago. It has no drive. So, going to part it out like the last system. Yey.

*in snarky voice* Let's begin, shall wee.....

WHY ARE YOU EVEN USING THE 9800GT?!?!?!?!??!?!?!?!?! THERE IS NO ADVANTAGE HAVING IT IN THERE! WHY ARE YOU UNDERCLOCKING YOUR 960 TO USE THE 9800GT??!!?

Sorry for caps, but this is making me want to throw a chair at him.

Your making your computer slower by putting it in there! you are limiting your CPU, you are killing your PSU and your other GPU and... just listen to us -.- if you have enough brains to swap out a computer part and BUY a GTX 960, then you have enough brains to understand that the 9800GT makes minecraft look like a slideshow.

how about instead you throw that old obsolete gpu in the trash, then put the gtx 960 in and enjoy actually being able to run games

there is literally NO VALID REASON to use a 9600 gt when you have a gtx 960

    NONE

So. Put a fucking drive in it. You could get at least $80 profit.

My 'scrapyard build' got some much needed upgrades today. I got a second 1GB RAM stick, now have 2GB. I can actually use it now. Also added a second hard drive, also 160GB, empty for now but planning to install a Linux distro on it (Debian most likely) and dual-boot.

I also replaced thermal paste on the chipset heatsink, and zip-tied a fan on it since it was getting pretty hot. It's much better now.

That new RAM stick is from an old PC I took apart today with a dead mobo. When I pulled the CPU cooler out, I noticed it was taking a lot of force. Turns out, it was literally glued to the CPU by massive amounts of old, cheap thermal paste. Pulled it right out of the socket (AM2). Guess that's why you don't apply a shit ton of cheap paste and leave it there for years.

A little but i still would like sparkle in there
i got notified today that the 9600gt was dead before i had it the owner heres the chat:

icytower387: Dude i put sparkle in my pc the 9600gt

That piece of sh*** A capacitor blew up and after that it stopped working
    Icytower387: :O

I stole the 9600gt from my friend who got it from a friend for free and now i know why...

May the sparkle rest in peace in it's memory i will use the integrated gpu of my core i5... R.I.P

**edit** it's only the 4gb 960 with backplate the sparkle deserves the pcie 16x 3.0

Right, you have to be trolling. Nobody but a troll would use a dead 9800 over a 960.
Or if its a joke. I'm still waiting on the punchline.
