Best PCI is a Radeon 5450 or a GT 520.

Get a board with AGP. The cards for AGP might not be much better, but they sure as hell are cheaper.

depends on the computer. usually its going to be $50 or more. i need to see what i feel like shipping though. If anything is damaged in shipping though, i will not hold responsibility for it. i dont want another flame war.

Guys, I wanna ask something about air flow. I have Fractal Design Core 3000 case and I want to make the airflow as good as possible. I currently have 3 fans which came with the case. 1x120mm & 1x140mm at the front + 1x140mm at the top blowing away the hot air. Can you tell me what fans do I have to position and where. The case has fan mounts as follows:

    • Front: 1 - 140mm fan (included is a hydraulic bearing 140mm Silent Series R2 fan, 1000 RPM speed); 1 - 120mm fan (not included)
    • Rear: 1 - 120mm fan (included is a hydraulic bearing 120mm Silent Series R2 fan, 1200 RPM speed)
    • Top: 2 - 120/140mm fans (included is one hydraulic bearing 140mm Silent Series R2 fan, 1000 RPM speed)
    • Bottom: 1 - 120mm fan (not included)
    • Side: 1 - 120/140mm fan (not included)
Also, can you recommend me a cheap and reliable fan controller? Because the one that came with the case is crap. It can't give enough power to the fans so they can start spinning.

    Goddamn it me.
One fan I thought worked doesn't work at all. Then I went to a shop and the only fan they had was a Sickleflow for 10€, but that was too expencive for my budget. Went to some other stores, and they didn't have any that would fit.

My shitty logic would make them push air trough the system. Might not work really good.

Don't do that, the GPU won't get any airflow that way.

So pretty much this is what i thought how to position my fans. Red should be where fans should push, green are the fans of the GPU, CPU and PSU, brown are components, and purple are the fan mounts. Is this any decent?

As long as you don't use Walmart bags and no bubble wrap.

It's a whole PC not a single part.

    What do you mean?

Hmm, this seems to be a pretty old case. Most modern cases are using down PSU mount. And I kinda think that two fans are not enough.

Graphics cards take in air from the bottom not the top. They then exhaust it to the rear of the case through a vent by all the hdmi, VGA and any other connectors on the back.

There are some exceptions in a few unusual cases but that's generally how things go. My motherboard mounts to the opposite side to normal in my case and causes the gpu to be above the CPU and intake air from above.

I don't really know beacuse it's dust heaven on the card below the graphics one, so it could be one fan intake one fan exaust.

even on the big triple fan cards, they're all intake. You don't want other cards in front of it really, but not end of the world.

Asus do manufacture a card where the cooler extends past the end of the PCB and has a fan o on each side but that's an exception

That's just blower cards, most aftermarket cards are open-air designs which exhaust to the front or sides as well as the rear vents (depends on heatsink fin placement, a card with 'vertical' fins will exhaust most hot air to the motherboard and side panel, while one with horizontal fins will exhaust most air through the rear plate and some to the front/sides).
