I don't have to come into school until 12:44 tomorrow to take an AP Stats final, then I get to leave at 9:51 AM Friday morning after my AP Government final, then it is finally winter break. Oh yeah, and Saturday I leave for Chicago. I love Chicago. It's such a beautiful city.

Re: General discussion chat compared to the base game of sims 3 it improves and adds MANY things really the only thing i personally feel it needs are open world, and toddlers (you're supposed to be able to have your own virtual family, hey guess what EA, toddlers are REAL, not myths)
Re: General discussion chat Ordered new Pc Parts finally. Should arrive Monday. I7 4790K ASUS H97 Plus Crucial Mx100 256GB SSD. Will take advantage of this to go to Windows 8.1 too, and clean up my current HDD.

Toddlers were just an annoying waste of resources anyway, I just aged my children to adults with the console and made them work. lel - - - Updated - - - y u no Z97 :| I'd stay away from Windows 8.1, unless you want to be annoyed by a big tablet start screen.
Re: General discussion chat And compatibility errors. On some games, Windows 8 has a considerably lower FPS cap, which makes you always a few frames behind everybody else. Among other issues of course.
Re: General discussion chat I hope that you dont feel like overclocking your CPU, cause it aint gonna happen (much) on that mobo. You also cant use more than a single GPU but that may not be an issue for you. If you don't want to overclock you may as well have got the non K edition of the CPU. Having said all that though that setup will still be pretty nice, just not optimal.

Re: General discussion chat I was originally going to get the non K version, then extra money happened,sk why not. Not going to OC anyway, not unless I get my self a liquid cooler which is it going to happen. And MultiGPU is not in my plans. That mobo will work just fine for what I need. About Windows 8.1, I'm using it O my laptop, and apart the horrendous start menu (iirc there is a patch or something to bring back the old one), I'm I haven't had any problems, and fastboot is quite nice. I can always revert back to Win 7 at the end.
Re: General discussion chat You're gonna have to buy an aftermarket cooler anyway, Intel's POS will overheat under stock boost clocks.
