While doing some birthday shopping, i found a GTX 1080 Ti for 450 bucks, which is in my budget. I've already purchased the item, it will arrive on my birthday! Win-Win! So, i guess 60 FPS Here i come..
Awesome! I'm looking to upgrade my GPU next but my computer has all AMD components so I don't think I can run a NVidia GPU .
I think they all use Intel processors, so yes, they do. I should have gone with a Dell when I got mine.
Not trying to hurt your birthday in anyway but im pretty sure it is impossible to find a gtx 1080ti for even 400 bucks, yet alone 250. Sounds like a scam or something, do you have an online link or something? Unless you mean gtx 1060 which by all means is completely fine.
I have a Dell XPS 8700 which I installed an EVGA 1070 SC. It is so good. I can run every game that I own at high settings wjth the only limiting factor being my system's RAM. I can guarantee you will have lots more fun compared to lower end graphics cards or none at all. BeamNG's settings are all maxed on my PC (not including reflections, but they are still good quality around the medium settings) and the game runs solid 60fps. It goes higher if I turn off vsync, but I don't need it to be generating unneeded heat. Best of luck installing the card anyways. EDIT: Also happy birthday!
That's still concerningly cheap for a card that still sells used for around $1000 give or take. You sure it's a working card / 1080ti? You might have been scammed.
It's not new, it's used. But it works, i can swear. Read description, called the guy, it's real, i'm not getting scammed.
I only did a quick Google search (and the prices may be different because I'm in a different area), but most 1080ti's here are sold at around £700, or more. I hope you didn't get ripped off.. Anyway, you checked that your computer can support the card, right? I don't know what sorta PSU that card would need, for example. I can't imagine the power requirement is low
So you're picking this card up in person? Because if you're getting it shipped to you the guy could easily send you a box full of bricks.
Alright. You have a dell from the 8x00 series? In my experience with those computers, you get either a 460 or a 600w psu. The 600 one can be swapped for a more powerful one, but the 430 one has a propietary shape
You can check with the service tag on the Dell page. I have a 8300 with the 460psu (Im sure i can identify it even with a picture)
