Go Kart Mod?

I know there's "kart" mods out there that are just stripped down versions on the regular in game cars, and there's also that one Mario Kart mod, but has anyone thought about/is working on a realistic go kart mod? No suspension, solid rear axle, super fast, great handling, true to life go kart? I would love to race one around the industrial map's race track. A shifter kart mod would be especially cool.

 

I think there is one being made by @BarmyPark but it hasn’t gotten any progress recently.

 

Yes! I want this because I have a concept for a DIY parallel-hybrid (2 electric motor-generators) off-road go-kart that I would like to test in BeamNG before I start putting it together IRL.

 

I think it would be much easier & quicker to put it together irl than in BeamNG
