    Dear all,

i am new to Beamng and i do not have so much experience in computergaming.
But i have a fairly good gaming laptop i believe (Geforce GTX 980M, Intel core i7 CPU (2,50 ghz), 7,9 gb ram)
    See attached picture/pdf.

I also uploaded a picture of the graphic settings and live performance up in the left corner.

I believe i have good fps while gaming, but the game still lags, even with the lowest graphic settings?
It does not lag all the time (every 10-20 seconds), but enough that its ennoying.

I can f.ex play world of tanks in the highest settings with no problems.

What could be the cause of this?

I appreciate all answers since i believe this is a great game.

Your picture shows 52 fps in the menu, there is no way of making that look good. Your computer should be able to get 60 fps in menu so you will need to check all of your power and graphics settings to ensure its not trying to save power. You said you lag every 10-20 secs? If thats so its most likely the cpu thermal throttling, this is temp related, to make sure this is the issue download core temp here, http://www.alcpu.com/CoreTemp/

after you install core temp, open it and start beamng drive on a big map with 2 or 3 cars spawned in, this will put a load on the cpu and give me a good understanding on what your cpu is doing. Upload a screenshot with core temp showing temps while beamng drive is running.

HI tY2525, Thank you for your advice. I have checked all settings and no "power save mode" is avtivated, all is set to performance.

    Check attached core temp:
