... Hey, BeamNG needs powerful modern computers to run it. Not phones. On a phone you might get 2 FPS.
They should make it a bit like smart watches are currently. You have to carry a powerful PC with you wherever you go.
I don't understand what is going on with these smart watches, you get a more useful product with an Iphone and some parcel tape! But on topic, do you want the game on a phone, or a controller for the game linked in through LUA (to allow you to use the phone as a steering wheel)? Because I support option 2!
Re: Kitteh5 I mean an customized version and easyer controls. - - - Updated - - - I mean an customized version and easy controls.
Yeah, probably. I was watching Top Gear at the time, and Jeremy Clarkson was talking, so my brain probably caught it.
Maybe someone who made beamng iT would think: good idea rubiespeed03 and Then they do something with it
Not likely. If you had bought the game, you would know its not some simple thing you can port to a phone and have run at 30fps. Most computers that arent built for gaming have issues playing it, let alone at 30fps. No phone in existence that is available to the public is able to play this game at any reasonable framerate
at the rate phones are progressing atm, yes, 2020 seems like a possible time for phones to be able to run this. some phones are currently faster than some new laptops that are "high tech" but are not really. it would be neat, but it can't be done with the current technology.
Nevermind the phones not running it, how about porting the entire rendering engine over, using native APIs for sounds and such? It won't happen.
Like i Said : CUSTOMIZED version. Not the same as on the computer. Like: not more then 5 maps and 10 cars and sleigtly less quality.
Then it wouldnt be beamng. It would basically be a shitty knockoff with beamng branding. Imo, all series that are native to gaming consoles/pc but have been made into a mobile game simply suck. Especially when theyre filled with microtransactions.
Well you guys saying iTS no good idea and i understand that but it was in my vision an good idea - - - Updated - - - Minecraft was good on: pc, Then on iPad and then on ps3/xbox360 So that is not fully true - - - Updated - - - But So i understand the negativeness
It's a cool idea that has already been suggested, and it's not possible atm. Minecraft was able to accomplish that because it is not a demanding game, and phones can handle the game. All they had to do was port it. BeamNG cannot accomplish this because it already requires a moderately powerful and expensive gaming PC to run it, and it would be impossible to deliver the same experience on a mobile platform. Phones are not physically powerful enough to run BeamNG, nor would they be able to run a minimal version of the game that still keeps the concept of the game active through soft-body physics. We probably would enjoy a mobile version as well, but once again, it is not possible. Slapping a mobile identifier to the name of a game does not mean it can now work on phones. It isn't that simple.
1. they didnt have to completely remake the *entire* game to port it to tablets 2. minecraft is a lot easier to run than beamng 3. minecraft is a large company with a huuuuuuuge budget, beamng is a tiny company with a pretty small budget 4. minecraft has a gigantic fanbase, so even if it sold relatively poorly, they would still make millions. 5. not much was lost from the game to port minecraft to portable devices, beamng would be an entirely different game if they remade it for mobile devices 6. No 7. Not gonna happen 8. No
This is like talking to a brick wall. Minecraft is not the same as BeamNG. Minecraft is a voxel sandbox game with survival elements. BeamNG is a soft body physics simulator. Minecraft can run on a very sub-par prebuilt system with relative ease. BeamNG requires a high performance custom built system to run it maxed out. Very few prebuilt computers can say the same thing. Stop comparing BeamNG to Minecraft. They are not the same.
