I thought I read somewhere that the developers were working on some pretty significant graphical/effect improvements for BeamNG. Any truth to this?
If I am not wrong, I think they're working on the integration of the Vulkan API... That's all I'm aware of
a dev said a some month ago that Vulkan was one of the big project for beamng but it will lock the development for many month and they don't wanted to do it now. (it may change since but i think not)
Vulkan is cool, but it's a long-term research topic. No plans for having that now. While we mostly focus on the physics than graphics, we are looking for some improvements on that front (mainly replacing old methods, like PostFX ones, with more efficient ones).
