Graphics settings and Start menu shortcut

I think there are few topics about graphics already, but here it is again "Shader Quality" does not seem to change, no matter what i do.
Also sometimes graphic settings revert back to defaults .. its annoying to be honest. I think it reverts after update?! no idea, it just happens sometimes.

But another bug that annoys me a lot, is that every time i launch BeamNG, it makes the stupid shortcut into my start menu called "BeamNG .drive"
I DONT WANT IT !!!!!!!!!!
I make my own shortcuts, in my own custom places, I keep my start menu clean and clear, no clutter. so please remove that dumb thing. It should only generate the shortcut if you install it for the first time.

 

It's alpha, dude. Stuff like that will get fixed and done as development progresses.

 

It's bug report dude, nothing gets fixed if developers are not aware of bugs .. DUH! This is the whole idea of REPORTING A BUG, so that devs will be aware of the bugs and annoyances and can fix them.

 

These are known bugs, dude.

 

adding a shortcut is not a bug..., in fact, all installer's do it, as there's no reason not to

 

Yes, but it shouldn't re-add it when you update the game. Or at least it should give you the choice.
