In case you haven't noticed, there is an existing license plate for Grid, Small, Pure, which comes as default but cannot be selected as a plate in the configurations menu. This plate is white without any decals, and while it is rather bland it would be nice to select it as an option. I'm sure I'm one of the only people who have noticed this but if somebody wants an easy mod idea, there you go.
