Group NG Racing Championship Race #2

Welcome to my Group N/BTCC inspired racing championship. This championship will be using 80's RWD race cars, tuned for handling rather than speed, although they're still plenty quick. They are the ETK I-series, Ibishu Pessima, and Bruckell Legran, available for download below. The first race was in the BeamNG Racing Group, but it didn't get very much attention, so I have decided to move it here.

Spoiler: Vehicle Rundown

• ETK I-series: Based on the 2400ti Evolution, this is the heaviest of the vehicles available, and also potentially the tamest. It also has a full aero kit, keeping it stable at speed.
• Ibishu Pessima: Tuned by @fufsgfen, this Pessima is very light and agile. It's gearing limits it's top speed, however, so it'll be at a disadvantage on the straights.
• Bruckell Legran: Note, this vehicle does not use stock parts, and a RWD drive train is included in the download. The fastest of the 3, this Legran has plenty of power, but is limited by it's Live axle rear suspension, giving it a rather loose rear end. This can be used to induce high speed drifts if you're brave, however.

Race #2:
To participate, do this event by going to time trials, selecting Hirochi Raceway, and selecting Long Race Circuit. In the options settings, select 2 laps. Leave rolling start and reverse disabled.Change time of day to whatever you want. Post a screenshot of your time in this thread. If possible, also upload a video or replay file of your best run. Post your time and the video in this thread. In your post, include whether you used a keyboard, controller, or steering wheel. Be sure to include fastest lap and total lap, as well as a screenshot of the end.

Submissions for times due February 24th, 2019.

If you participated in Race #1, delete and redownload the vehicles. They have been changed.

Are we allowed to repost with a better time? As in, I submit a time today and update it the next day with a better time.

 

Of course. You may submit as many times as you want until the deadline.

 

I cant really do video, since I don't have any Video Editor that's any good (R.I.P Microsoft Movie Maker, I will miss you!)

This is actually some good fun, now that I'm not using a particularly fast car! Hopefully more people participate in this championship!

Good to hear! Most stock race cars in Beam don't have the best tune, so these should be much more pleasant to drive. Just create another post to submit another time, it's easier to keep track of that way.

 

I finally got around to submitting a time. The Legran, driven with a G29 wheel.

Not the best run ever, but here's my submission:

These things are fun, soo I'm gonna try taking part in them more, even if I'm not that good
Anyway
I used the Pessima (I was going to use the etk to be different but I can't drive it atall)
My best lap was 1.36.905 and total time was 3.22.498
And I used a PS3 controller

I could probably do slightly better, but I can't concentrate much atall. I may come back to this

ETK I has arrived! And dammit it wants to slide.. Other then that, really good tune!

After a lot of going sideways in an ETK, I present my new time.

I might be able to do better, but this is probably the fastest time I'll submit.
Edit:
Almost beat it in the Legran, and got pretty close in the Pessima too.

 

Here is a lap time with the Etk-i Group N with a time of 1:31.578 with a G27. Total time 3.08:116. Replay is added as well.
