Growing terrain problem

While i was making a mountain designed for crashing vehicles when i grow a terrain then a hole appears and looked like a giant crater of a Volcano is this a bug? please let me know how do i fix it.

This happens when you reach the height limit of the terrain, you probably have to lower the average altitude by A LOT to fix it. I made the same mistake with the map I was working on once, when creating terrain you need to make it very low altitude at first, barely above the sea level, and then manually add mountains.

How do i make the terrain height higher

Select TerrainBlock and increase maxHeight. Objects don't follow the terrain so it's best to set the height before building anything.
