Good game, and the price is good, but the PC port is terrible.
I bought it a ways back for around $10, and the Games For Windows Live reliant saving system is utterly terrible.
It's still a good game, and it's hard to argue with a $6 price tag, but be aware that the port will give you more pains than it has any right to.

I got all the GTA games as of now on the PC for 10 bucks a while ago. During the Rockstar Games week I believe.
What sucks is that I can't play any of them. Even on lowest settings it's too laggy to play. I still get like 8 fps.. I hate my PC.

My PC Could run it on High/Medium but it would get low FPS in some places. Then it just stopped working one day. I cant figure out why but it wont run.

Yes, you can use mods to fix it, to some degree, but that's not really the point. Most users aren't prepared to go wading through file folders and plugging in possibly shoddy mods to enable functionality that should have existed in the game upon sale.
If some modder tapping away on their weekends can do better than your full-time, fully staffed professional development team, you have problems as a developer.

If you can't copy a bunch of files yo can't use a computer. And yes, PC ports are always terrible. But they're good because mods.

I remained strong and only bought Gta...at least for now. But I have to say this game with 60 fps is frickin awesome. Never knew the difference between console and pc is that high. I can't wait to throw some mods at this bad boy :D

    Edit:
It allready looks and runs better than Watch Dogs.

What graphics card do you have?
I'd rather use native resolution and get 25-ish fps...

Well my old laptop with a Intel HD graphics card and an Intel Duo core runs it around the same on low so that's a pretty terrible graphics card,

    Oh, didn't see that.
You might have a little bit of a bottleneck there...
