This is a wip, i Will try to add pictures when i can.
Ive had a few pm’s about how to fix mod textures so im going to try and make a rough tutorial for the issues to why a mods textures are not working.
The most common issue i have is that mod textures are dependent on ingame textures that have been removed through remasters or names changed, you can check if this an issue by opening the console and looking if it is trying to find a texture to the following things:
    Vehicles/hatch/
    Vehicles/semi/
    Vehicles/midsize/
    Vehicles/bolide/
    Vehicles/roamer/
    Vehicles/pickup/
    Vehicles/sunburst/
    Vehicles/van/
    Vehicles/citybus/
    Vehicles/autobello/
    Vehicles/pigeon/
    Vehicles/wigeon/
    Vehicles/pessima/
    Vehicles/coupe/
    Vehicles/wendover/
    Vehicles/bastion/
    Vehicles/etkc/
    Vehickes/etki/
    Vehicles/etk800/
    vehicles/burnside/
    vehicles/scintilla/
    vehicles/fullsize/
    Levels/small_island/
    Levels/industrial/
    Levels/utah/
(Can someone confirm the etk experience centres name)
    Levels/west_coast_usa/
    Levels/italy/
(Can someone let me know what the rest of the maps names are as im away from my pc)
If any of these show up in the console in the lines of text you need to go to steam and downgrade your game to an older version, id recommend either 0.14 or 0.23 (probably 0.14 is your best bet). Once you have downgraded go to c/users: yourname/ steam/steamapps/common/beamng.drive/content/vehicles and copy that to your desktop, if your trying to fix a map copy the levels folder to your desktop. Reupdate your game, while you wait open what folder you need (folder names should be the same as listed above) and find what textures you need (should be listed at the end of the lines were you found what folder you need to find in the console) and drag these onto your desktop. get the mods .zip folder and click through either levels or vehicles folder depending on what your fixing, there will be a file with a name, remember this name, click through that folder and find every file ending in .materials or materials. Open up the materials folder in notepad, press ctrl+h and replace whatever line listed above, for instance lets say its the sunburst textures, replace /sunburst/ with /whatever name you needed to remember/, save it to your desktop and put the textures from your desktop and the material file into the mod, hopefully that should work.

There are way more texture issues that could be the problem that require pictures to properly explain, as im currently away from my pc for a while i thought i could start it with the most common problem.
Ill try to edit this over time to make it a bit more understandable, but please remember that modding isnt easy and if your starting from nothing it will be more difficult to understand.
Hopefully this is the right section to post this lol
