I noticed that AI tends to spawn at a dead stop, then speed up. This is a bit strange for freeway traffic.
As of right now, there is no way that I know of to just imbue velocity on a vehicle. At best, you can retain it between teleports, but that velocity is only kept if the vehicle is oriented exactly the same as it was at the end of the last teleport, and it won't reset any damage. The best option would be something that could accelerate the vehicle from its non-canon standstill faster than the vehicle's engine, such as wind or planetary gravity. But wind will emit rushing wind sounds near the vehicle (and will push on the car from its less aerodynamic angle), and there's a chance 3d gravity might be removed from the program at a later date. At any rate, spawning a vehicle already at speed just isn't possible.
