When driving at night, the headlights on the BeamNG cars certainly help, but I can't help but notice two glaring issues with the current state of headlights: They're not bright enough when compared to real-life examples The illumination pattern is somewhat off I don't know if it's a game engine thing that can't be changed (like shaping the lightray) or if it's intended the way it is right now, but there are multiple differences. For example, on the Vivace with LED headlights, the high beams are about as bright as modern vehicle's dipped lights are. The high beams of the police Bastion more resemble what a modern vehicle's LED brights would be. The next thing is the lighting pattern - if you stand in front of a wall, it's particularly noticeable that the BeamNG lights are round, while the real life headlight beams have a very distinct pattern: (it seems the website has disabled hotlinking images, so you can reference the LED headlight patterns here https://www.hella.com/techworld/us/Technical/Automotive-lighting/Light-distribution-834/) When viewed from atop, the illumination patterns look about right, but it still feels off when you're driving. Is there a way to improve this?
