Heightmap import crashes game

    Hey all,

    I've been trying to make a custom map and wanted to import a heightmap of real data to create the elevation in the terrain. However, upon importing the heightmap the game crashes.

    Looking to use a 2048x2048 size map/heightmap. I think I've converted everything correctly but could be making a mistake here. I created the heightmap using an 8x render via https://tangrams.github.io/heightmapper/#13.04167/45.4611/7.1670
    Then I used paint.net to get a 2048x2048 slice of this map.

    Upon importing the heightmap I only select it and don't change any other settings as there is no clear tutorial explaining what to change in order to make it work.

    Tutorial I used to create the map files:

    All help is much appreciated, hoping to get started on this project soon :)

    did you find any solutions? it also like to crash for no apparent reason when importing terrain materials
