Help me! My mod car is glitching. It worked before but when I tried to add parts, it failed. So I brought everything back to normal (I thought ). .zip and screenshots included. In the second screenshot you can see there is no texture for the hood, while the whole car is in 1 model with 1 jbeam and 1 texture. It's because the beams from the hood just fall down till they hit the ground. How are they not connected??? --Lucky4Luuk
The vehicle creation tutorial by B25Mitch tells you what to do, read it, (or re-read it) http://wiki.beamng.com/Introduction_to_Vehicle_Creation
I'll try to re-export it and also re-read the tutorial (again). Thanks to all of you for your help. -- Lucky4Luuk
O thx, sorry about the 3 posts, because I was typing this on my phone. Sorry [emoji1]! But how can I fix the hood? Now I resetted my model's transformation/position, the whole hood is texture-less, I also deleted the second material in blender named Custom1_hood. --Lucky4Luuk
If the texture is missing the object should be orange with "no texture" text on it. Either that or just a plain diffuse color that you assigned in Blender. BeamNG exp build is a bit messed up, you have to close the game, delete the cache, then restart in order for it to reload textures. BUT, since your hood is straight up missing, I think the mesh itself is not showing up. This might be because you didn't assign it properly to the nodes. Or maybe you aren't actually exporting it. Try importing the .dae that you exported to see if the hood is present. Both the hood and body should have the same origin at 0 0 0 with transforms reset.
I edited my post, because it does show up, but its not connected and falls down trough the model on the ground. Also, I resetted everything from the .blend file to 0,0,0 and re-eported my JBeam and .dae. That didn't make any difference, I even added some more beams. For more pics, just ask. --Lucky4Luuk
