[Help Needed]. Cant set maxbrushsize in settings.xml

Hi
i have a problem when i am trying to set my max brush size for the terrain editor. i open up settings.xml in notepad++, navigate to max brush size, set it to the value i want (120) and save. then when im in editor i have to reload the editor because it is already open. (press f11 exit then f11 to open) But the max brush size is still at 40, and when i go back to settings.xml, my 120 changed back to 40
any help would be appreciated.

when you are in the editor, just type 120 into the brush size box.

nope doesnt work. when i type it in editor it reverts back to 40 in editor. so next im going to update files!(run updater)
