Recently (as you may have seen on the development screens) I have been making a Ford 8N with a scratch Jbeam. People seem to like it and are excited about it, so I thought I'd make a thread about it. If this is going to get released then I will need some of the great modders of beamng to help me along the way with this. I have some experience and know how to do some things but not really what to do from where I am now. Currently the Jbeam and model are in game, but nothing else. (might be a bit off-scale, although it looked the right scale next to a pessima in blender...) I might call it a Dove N8 or something so it can be released on the repo. Planned configurations: Rusty Skin Homemade wooden cab? Roll Bar Beacon on bonnet (hood) So if any experienced modder that knows what they’re doing would like to help, then just reply to this thread. Thank you, and I hope this doesn't get cancelled. 28th July edit: Mod is now cancelled due to Jbeam problems that I can’t resolve. I should have changed the status to cancelled way earlier but I must admit I completely forgot
I don't know if the fs19 one is the same model though, some things look different. As for the engine specs it would be very helpful if you could do them, but you'll need to wait until someone helps me get the mod working fully in game
I love the Dove name, if this is released on the repo I think this is the perfect name. OT : This mod looks great so far and I wish you good luck with it
except the 8n is wayy too small but there was a flathead swap available for about 90 hp --- Post updated --- like this:
that's actually quite cool... Do you know if a 8N was ever available with a mowing deck on it? It seems small enough to be a mower/compact tractor mower
When this mod is done I might make a couple of 3-point hitch attachments for it, that looks quite cool.
